SHIPPING POLICY

At MYKITCO, we aim to dispatch your order from our kit to yours as quickly and smoothly as possible. This Shipping Policy outlines our processing times, delivery options, and important terms for both UK and international orders.

BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER

PLEASE NOTE: Once an order has been placed, it is final and cannot be amended.

Please check your order, including product quantities, delivery address, and contact details thoroughly before completing your purchase.

ORDER PROCESSING
We aim to process all orders within 24 hours (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays). During peak periods such as sales or holidays, processing times may be longer. We do not process or dispatch orders on weekends.

UK SHIPPING OPTIONS
Royal Mail 48 Tracked (Standard)
Estimated delivery: 1-3 working days
Orders placed before 2pm (Monday to Friday)

Royal Mail 24 Tracked (Express)
Estimated delivery: 1-2 working days
Orders placed before 2pm (Monday to Friday)
Not a guaranteed next-day service

DHL Express Courier (Tracked & Signed)
Premium tracked delivery with signature on delivery (may be affected by COVID-19 restrictions)

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Orders weighing under 2kg are typically shipped via Royal Mail International (Tracked and/or Signed options available depending on destination).

Orders weighing over 2kg are typically shipped via DHL Express International.

International Value - Tracked economy service (slower)
International Express - Tracked premium service (faster)

 

TRACKING
We recommend choosing a tracked or tracked & signed service where available.

Royal Mail Tracked: Includes tracking number. Delivery may occur without signature or safe place confirmation. If you select this service, you agree to Royal Mail's terms regarding safe place delivery and assume responsibility for any loss.

DHL Tracked & Signed: Includes tracking number and proof of delivery. Signature collection may be suspended during exceptional circumstances.

Tracking details will be emailed to you once your order has been shipped.

 

EU ORDERS AND IMPORT FEES
Due to Brexit, the following applies to EU deliveries:

Orders under €150 (approx. £135) will not incur EU VAT at checkout but may be subject to local customs and duties upon arrival.

Orders over €150 may incur import VAT, customs duties, and handling fees which are the customer’s responsibility.

Goods may also be subject to tariffs if manufactured in China. Import charges must be paid before delivery. Failure to pay may result in the goods being returned or destroyed. No shipping refunds will be issued in such cases.

 

INTERNATIONAL TAXES & DUTIES
The final price at checkout includes any applicable UK VAT. Customers outside the UK are solely responsible for any:

Customs charges

Handling fees

SHIPPING TO FORWARDERS & THIRD PARTIES
If you choose to ship your order to a:

Fulfilment facility

Distribution centre

We are only responsible for delivery to the address provided. Once delivered and signed for at that location, the order is considered complete. Any loss or mis-delivery beyond that point is at the customer’s risk.

 

REMOTE AREA & OVERWEIGHT PREMIUMS
Even if your order qualifies for free shipping:

If your delivery address is in a remote area (as defined by our carriers), you may be contacted to pay a surcharge before your order is dispatched.

If your order exceeds standard weight or volumetric thresholds, additional shipping fees may apply. We will contact you if this is the case.

You may cancel your order if you do not wish to pay the surcharge.

£250+ - DHL Express Courier (Tracked & Signed)

International Orders (select countries):

£200+ - Europe, USA* (mainland), Canada, Australia
(*Excludes USA territories and armed force bases)

Note: Free shipping may still be subject to remote area or overweight surcharges.

 

SPECIAL DELIVERY UPDATES

ISRAEL
Due to ongoing delays with the Israeli postal system, all orders to Israel are subject to delays. These shipments incur a high-risk premium, which is reflected in shipping rates.

 

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
Shipping timelines are based on working days (Monday to Friday). Orders placed over UK public holidays will be processed the next available business day. Please factor in these delays when ordering during:

International Public Holidays (for global deliveries)

 

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS
Please be aware that orders placed during the Christmas period may experience delays.

No order processing or shipping will occur on:

24 - 26 December 2025

31 December 2025

1 January 2026

Deliveries on or around these dates will depend on our delivery partner’s holiday schedule.

 

GIFT CARDS
All Gift Cards are delivered electronically to your email address. No physical card will be sent.

 

DELIVERY ESTIMATES
All delivery timeframes provided are estimates, not guarantees. Once your parcel leaves our warehouse, we rely on our carriers to deliver within their advertised timeframes. MYKITCO is not liable for carrier delays, especially during busy or unforeseen periods.
