This week, I got my hands on the brand-new NUDESTIX STAX, and I couldn’t wait to share my thoughts with you! From the packaging alone, I could tell NUDESTIX had something innovative on their hands, so let’s dive right into it.
The STAX are the latest addition to NUDESTIX’s collection of minimalist, on-the-go beauty products. Designed for those who love to streamline their routine without losing out on versatility, these compact cream formulas come in a variety of shades that claim to work on the eyes, cheeks, and lips. It’s an all-in-one face colour, perfect for anyone who wants to keep their kit as minimal as possible!
From first swatch, the texture of the STAX sits somewhere between cream and a powder. It feels balm-like in the packaging with a smooth, buttery consistency, but as soon as it touches the skin, it transforms into a powder-like finish. From the first swatch, I had a feeling this would be a winner for the cheeks. The soft, powdery finish makes it perfect for a natural flush, but I wasn’t so sure about how it would perform on the eyes and lips. Let's give it a try…
I jumped straight into testing the STAX as blush, and from the swatches I was excited to see how it would perform on my cheeks. With 9 versatile shades to choose from, I decided to use different shades on my cheeks, lips, and eyes to find the best fit for each. For blush, I went with Cheeky Coral - a warm, neutral tone that’s closest to what I usually wear. To apply, I paired the STAX with the 0.7 MY FLAWLESS FOUNDATION brush, which has dense fibres perfect for picking up product. Thanks to its flat head, this brush acts as a great alternative to a beauty blender, allowing me to build up coverage by bouncing the product onto my skin. The cream texture of the STAX worked well with the denser brush, offering a lightweight, buildable finish that blended seamlessly into my foundation. The result? A soft, natural flush that was easy to layer for more intensity.
Next, I moved on to the eyes and chose the neutral brown shade, Sunstone. To be honest, I wasn’t entirely confident how the STAX would perform on the eyes given its balmy texture. I expected some creasing or a heavier finish. I decided to switch things up and use a fluffier brush instead of the dense one I used for the cheeks. To my surprise, it worked even better than expected! I applied it with the 1.32 MY BLENDING SHADOW MINI, a brush with super fluffy fibres designed for soft, diffused application. The cream texture picked up beautifully on the brush and when blended onto my eyelids, it transformed into a lightweight, powdery wash of colour. The finish was sheer, yet buildable, and felt incredibly weightless on the skin. What really amazed me was the lack of creasing, and the colour stayed put. I was genuinely speechless!
Finally, I put the lip to the test. After how well the STAX performed on my eye I was pretty optimistic about the lip. I opted for the brightest shade in the range, Melon Sugar, as I felt like I’d played it pretty safe so far! I paired this with the 3.1 MY LINE & FILL as this is one of my favourite MYKITCO brushes as it takes you to a perfect pout in an instant! From first application, the product performed much more like a powder than a cream so it was much harder to get a pigment payoff. The finish leaned more toward a soft, powdery lip, which isn’t my usual preference. That said, I was still able to build up the coverage for a subtle, matte look. While the texture didn’t quite hit the mark for me in terms of my ideal lip finish, it could definitely appeal to those who prefer a lighter, more natural lip feel.

Overall, the NUDESTIX STAX lived up to its promise of being a versatile, on-the-go product. The standout for me was definitely its performance as a blush and eyeshadow, the cream to powder formula gave a soft, natural finish that felt incredibly lightweight on the skin. While the product didn’t quite deliver the pigment payoff I was hoping for on the lips, it could still work well for those who prefer a more subtle lip look. If you’re a fan of minimalist beauty or love a streamlined routine, the STAX is a fantastic option to add to your kit. With its buildable coverage and multi-use functionality, it's a solid choice for anyone seeking an effortless, polished look. I give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars and will definitely be reaching for it when I’m on the go!
