It’s always one of my favourite times of the year when we get to launch new kit additions to the MYKITCO family!
For our latest additions I wanted to focus own some makeup kit staples and offer you makeup lovers a new way to store and travel with your beloved makeup, so we are happy to introduce MY PALETTE BUDDY, MY PALETTE POUCH and MY PENCIL POUCH.
Let’s start with MY PALETTE POUCH, for the longest time I’ve been thinking of a way to carry my palettes in my kit whilst keeping them protected. In the past I’d used MY CANVAS POUCH which did a great job but as it wasn’t wide enough for some of my larger eye palettes such as, the BPerfect Carnival palette, I was still feeling limited. So, I went back to the MYKITCO drawing board and got to thinking…
I knew I wanted a wallet style bag that could fit multiple sizes of palettes, something that was padded but still slim enough to fit in my kit. I thought the most effective way would be to make a canvas style bag, one of our most durable and popular materials and pad the sides to cushion the palettes.
The sizing was important to me too, I know artists like to maximise their space, the pouch measures 35cm x 24cm x 2 cm. Currently I am carrying 13 palettes of various sizes in My Palette Pouch ranging from Tom Ford Quads to The Perfect Carnival Palette. The inside of the pouch is fully lined in PVC making it easy to clean which is vital to me as a busy artist. This bag has literally never left my kit since I got hold of the first sample, I think you are going to love using it!
The idea for MY PALETTE BUDDY came to me because I wanted a way to travel and store my palettes both in the studio and on the road. The portfolio design is super sturdy and made from our signature black canvas with has both a zip and clips to make sure when it’s closed, it stays closed! For the inside of the BUDDY, I wanted to be able to see my palettes, so we used hard wearing PVC.
Each section has space for a label too you can divide your palettes by name or tone. We made the inside section removable so you can choose to take out that section if needed, it easily reattaches with the velcro base! I’m loving this BUDDY to store the palettes I use on a semi regular basis as I know when they are not in use, I can keep the snugly on my makeup studio shelf.
It’s a great bag for travelling with, we’ve made the handle strong and the whole bag feels very heavy duty. In MY PALETTE BUDDY I currently have 17 palettes ranging from Norvina to Viseart with room for a couple more. Our last bag in this launch is MY PENCIL POUCH. This is a hybrid bag that uses our classic MY CANVAS POUCH bag with the addition of 2 dividers with multiple elasticated loops, perfect for storing your most used pencils, mascara, lipsticks etc. The idea of this bag came about when I was always searching for my favourite products in a hurry. I like to keep my products arranged by category, so I wanted a bag that allowed me to mix pencils with other product but keep them organised and easy to find! I’m using one Pencil Pouch for all my lips pr and one for brows and eyes.
The dividers hold up to 30 classic sized pencils on 3 sides with the back section holding up to 8 lipsticks or mascaras making it so versatile. We added a pocket to the inside of the lid which I use to store MY METAL PALETTE. The inside of the bag is fully lined in PVC making it easy to keep clean and hygienic. This is a great multipurpose bag and so easy to pack no matter the size of your makeup kit!
